The CWNP Certified Wireless Specialist (CWS) Certification is a vendor-neutral, entry-level credential designed for wireless sales, marketing, entry-level support, and decision-making professionals related to 802.11 wireless networks. The CWS-100 certification exam covers the basic knowledge of Wi-Fi and the typical hardware and software used in the wireless local area networks (WLANs).
The CWNP CWS-100 exam objectives are as follows:
- Understand organizational goals (25%)
- Identify 802.11 features and functions (30%)
- Understand basic RF hardware and functions (15%)
